I deleted my Amazon account four months ago. Apart from marvelling at how SO MANY search results insist that mundane items are only available at Amazon, my life hasn’t changed. It has fewer things in it but it hasn’t changed.

No matter where the public chooses to get its news and opinions, the fractured, incoherent, gobs-on-sticks nature of everyone chucking in their opinion is why the public chooses to believe whatever comforts them. And increasingly what angers them also comforts them. What a time to be alive.
