Yesterday, we received Penn’s official response to our petition for a union election. We had hoped Penn would respect the will of a supermajority of postdocs and research associates and agree to an election without delay.

Over 200 protesters in Philadelphia gathered outside Senator McCormick’s office to protest recent cuts to NIH funding. NIH funding creates jobs and advances new cures to the clinic. Senator McCormick could not be reached for comment (shocker).
