“There is nothing in writing that all helicopters will be able to land. We don’t know what that agreement will actually look like or whether (the Laurelhurst council) will follow through.” The Council was slated to meet on Monday, May 11, but postponed the meeting, according to its website.

5 large data centers are being proposed in Seattle. They would use 369 megawatts, which is 1/3 of the electricity Seattle currently uses Seattle City Light declines to identify the four companies. They should hold a public input meeting before making any final decisions.

Stanwood, WA just turned their Flock cameras back on, right as a new state bill blocks the public from accessing records on Flock data. Taxpayer-funded cameras tracking residents? Fine. Residents asking how that data is being used? Suddenly a problem.
