I look at Trump just killing people in boats for fun, typing out his whims on Truth Social, ordering people around with no actual authority and I think that TikTok guy was right.

It genuinely feels demonic. And that makes me feel crazy. But I don’t know how else to understand not just the impulse to hurt for fun, but the way people just cave to it.

The part that makes me the most angry is knowing that, if we somehow survive this, a bunch of white liberals will try to help these jackwagons with redemption. They’ll come up with some bullshit Lost Cause equivalent and our side will pitch the tragedy of brother against brother.

Well looks like they met for this — Ed Martin sent a letter to the FBI agent who testified during Alex Jones trial about seeing the Sandy Hook children dead. Martin asked if the agent had a financial incentive. The rest is hard to parse. Martin wrote asking to keep the letter private.

That's really helpful. In my context, my governor, both my US Senators, and a # of pastors are engaged in a game that regards me and mine in Tennessee as brute force test subjects they will not hesitate to harm. Musicians who participate in the White Christian Nationalism recruitment efforts are the greatest disappointment. Music unifies, this we know. Using it to unify people under supremacist ideology grieves me in a way that I cannot find appropriate words for.
