Had the great opportunity to visit a wetland restoration project conducted by Ducks Unlimited. The project has worked on converting an old “muck” farm back to a wetland by removing tile drains, diverting hydrology, and planting hydrophytic vegetation. Super excited to see the progress so far!

This is an absolute disaster. If we don't stop this, they will turn NSF into a pawn of the Trump administration. There will be no research on climate, biodiversity, or anything that isn't eugenics or AI or how to more efficiently destroy the planet for profit. This cannot be allowed to happen.

Recently, all the AAAS Science & Tech Policy Fellows at EPA were terminated from our positions with little notice and for no clear reason. This effectively ended a partnership that had been going since 1980 and which had brought hundreds of scientists to the EPA as fellows, many of whom stayed. 1/7
