Check out our new paper, led by @abagaelpruitt.bsky.social, quantifying whole stream/river denitrification rates in an ag river and its tributary across seasons. Abagael did a great job leading this work and its a really great application of the open-channel N2 method! dx.doi.org/10.1029/2025...

We conditioned these handy recirculating mesocosms (at #NotreDame) under a range of temperatures. Then we added #eDNA from from two fish species and and took H2O samples over time to measure removal rates for different eDNA sizes. SO to @abagaelpruitt.bsky.social letting me use her experiment setup!
