Exactly one year ago, we first started work on the Stronghold Beginners Academy. Back then, we were just six volunteers, most of us new to community work. Today, the SBA has helped over 190 players enter the competitive splatoon community and find a team. 🧵

We came third 🥉 in Paddling 326, our second podium! We had a strong winners run, getting knocked down in winners finals 2-3 and unfortunately falling victim to a revenge set in Losers finals. Ggs to everyone we faced, and cheers to Skittles for subbing in for us in the last set! #compsplatoon

Chuffed to have finally gotten paddling podium and it feels truly awesome to have a paddling run with a full team again (thanks to actually having a 5th now 😭). Hopefully this is the beginning of good things for our improvement, and we can make a swift transition into high level!

We won our final playoff match 5-2 vs 5 dollar comps to place 3rd overall in div 2! Really solid performance from us today, feels good to end our season on a win, and we're happy to finally have a good showing in playoffs. Ggs to everyone we faced and tysm to all the luti staff! #compsplatoon

Unfortunately our luti run comes to an end with a close 3-5 semi-finals loss to DURRR BURGER. A few painfully close losses but they just outplayed us on the day. Really proud of how we did overall this season though, and we've still got the 3rd place match to win next week. Should be fun!
