Sorry I've been really quiet in private messages recently, Eva has not been doing great and it's positively tearing me up to see her in discomfort. She's been to the vet so many times in the last few months and had so much imaging with nothing too alarming so I just hope she gets to improving soon.

I lose faith in humanity every time rattlesnake season rolls around. When people brag about killing animals purely for existing, it really gets to me. Especially when they proudly post photos. We have plenty of relocation options here, but some people would rather kill than do that.

PSA for anybody signing up to Picarto - Picarto has no customer support and the site seems to be dying. I've been trying to get support for over half a year. Picarto is completely unresponsive. Their stream quality has also become incredibly delayed, slow, and stops completely quite frequently.

Sunbeam snakes are a joke by mother nature... The prettiest, most iridescent guys ever, buried deep in the ground. We rarely see this guy but he had to move into his new 4 foot enclosure tonight! He is not happy with us for moving and weighing him.

Sweet nostalgia... I was just saying this morning to @aryte.bsky.social how I regret selling my childhood cards, and how one of my favourites was an Articuno I got from a booster pack. It happened again today and was quite a lovely feeling. Scalpers get money, but they don't get this kind of fun!

Relaxing and falling asleep while being pet?! It took almost a whole year to get to this point, but it's wonderful. 🩵
