Well, Thrit is a scout/ranger. He's a friendly and curious goofball who likes to mess around and have fun. A friend-shaped potato lizard, if anything. How do I make him halloween-ish? A ghost, maybe? But any ghost that's not him covered in a white sheet feels out of character to me.

I never thought of what spooky Thrit is like. ... huh.
