I just watched Frankenstein, and as someone who readed and loved the book, it's a masterpiece. Not because it's an exact adaptation from the book, but its based in the spirit and idea behind the book. Someone who really understand the creature. And also made with art and love

I've lost count of how many years I've been trying to grow as an artist on all social media platforms. I never manage to improve and be like other successful artists. Sometimes it's hard to have ambition and dreams. Because they never come true.

Social media is trash for many artists. And we never see the light at the end of the tunnel, doomed to the most invisible anonymity in the world.

Honestly, sometimes I feel a bit like a loser because if I draw other thing aside Caliban, for some reason, it becomes invisible to all the algorithms. I want to grow as artist and show that I'm capable of doing more things than a bat guy.

Caliban story backstory is in part about one of my fav plot ever “the misunderstood monster”. So, it makes sense the villain is someone so handsome that people trust just by that stupid reason. Kinda like “The Beauty and Beast”. Maybe because I always see myself as a beast

As side note i made him as elf because i find them very overrated, specially high elves. And I am tired in most media they are seen like kindness or pure perfect beings with the most stereotypical beauty. So this time, i made all my point of view with the most hated character here

I thought that if Caliban was a deadly sin he would be The Wrath. But not a a violent or unbridled anger, but a silent one. A constant wrath that he holds inside and tries to control. He has many reasons to be angry for things he suffered in his lore And if he unleashes it, everything will burn.

Some update: looks DM had a moment of lucidity, and he was agreed removed the damage from loud sounds for Caliban. It was already too much even considering that he has made the Blood Hunter class consume HP for everything. With Caliban is playing on Tryhard. And I'm being jinxed is like DarkSouls

New rule: Never play with a character that you have designed yourself for DnD or any TTRPG. Believe me, it will ruin the experience and you will end up hating your character xd

I really think the DMs hate me because i see the species skills from other players and i am in shock: - 2 of them have the fucking Spiderman's spider sense, they can know the source of a danger or threat nearby. -One for being human: +1 luck, more points for skills and high max stats.

Another thing the DM changed and I don't like at all is his version of Blood Hunter. While blood magic only uses your blood as a catalyst but you only lose HP when you want to boost it or use a greater power as a last resort, this version is EVERY SPELL COST HP FOR EVERYTHING

Okay, i think i wont do this. After playing with Caliban, i think not very people would like play with him. You have too much disadvantages, at least as DM wanted; loud sounds affect you, even phusical damage. And aside You have a perfect dark vision, You have poor vision in the light sun.

I am begging an art book of Frankestein Guillermo del Toro movie as great as the Crimson Peak. I need it, please, please, I hope they made it.

Sometimes i get some messages asking about Caliban as a "villain". He is not a villain or a BBEG, he is an adventurer! He is very misunderstood for his blood magic (and maybe too because his look very intimidating) but he just tries to put it in good use xD

Another change i will make for Caliban is his lance. I realized the shape of the blade is kinda weird and complicated to draw in perspective. So i will try something more easy but still good looking

Aaaah damn, i hate my bad luck, for first time i am playing with Caliban in a rol campaign, i get low stats by dices. The rest players get higher, so i feel like playing with disadvantage and with a Caliban not in his prime xd

Paypal is now playing harder ball on artists, going after anyone even mentioning commissions. Artists, send invoices. That way, no one has to say what the money is for on Paypal's paper trail. Customers, SAY NOTHING about commissions. Just say "thanks" on donos. Everyone: INCREASE THE CALLS.
