it's pretty frustrating to see a video on the home page of youtube, misclick the "Includes paid promotion" thing that suddenly appears. this navigates away from the home page, and using the back button shows completely different results on the home page. the one video I was interested is gone now.

This method of infiltrating seems similar to "Jia Tan" with XZ utils. Exhaust and overwhelm. Manufactured sense of urgency to bypass security controls. Use of multiple coordinated "sock puppet" accounts. Suspicious endorsements from unknown community members.
