I’m a little obsessed with this cookbook. Got the first one well over a decade ago and now that I found it’s out of print I love getting used copies on #abesbooks. Will admit I don’t use the recipes often since I’m the only one that would eat authentic dishes like this, but love it.

I’ll admit I’ve only read the first story so far, which is Christa’s. James Whale is the gay icon, but a minor figure. The story is very relevant for today. Also reminds me of her excellent novel Control Freak. Can’t wait to dig into the wither stories in this anthology.

Thank you for making me remember the Mycelial Network and witchcraft. Sometime in the past 10 years learned of trees connectedness through roots in a radio lab episode. Long before that, tried getting into ritual but had a hard time both getting it and building relationships and gave it up.
