I bought my mum an automatic hand soap dispenser because she's been so exhausted that pumping the soap bottle was tiring for her. It's great and we both thank it when it gives us soap.

It seems quite a lot of people rent out properties but use the rental address as their contact in the Land Registry. When changes happen, they have no idea because they can't be contacted unless their tenant forwards the mail. One person said they ignore emails or letters about the property.

My mum is poorly. She has C. diff and has been put on a special antibiotic to kill the bastards. I hope it works quickly because she has the worst diarrhoea and is barely able to eat anything. Trying to keep her from getting dehydrated is hard.

I attended an online meeting of the leaseholders of the flats in my street. We needed new directors of the residents company. I was the only one who put my name forward so we have the old directors and me. The other selfish entitled mfs complain and want accountability but won't get involved.

I just realised my new phone can send audio to my hearing aids via bluetooth. My old phone couldn't. I don't wear hearing aids when I'm out because I like to listen to music or podcasts. It might be too loud outside when people are talking to hear a podcast but I'll give it a try.

I bought a brand new memory foam mattress from the Scope charity shop on eBay and it arrived vacuum packed, rolled and in the original box with a warranty card. It's amazing and I can't wait to go to bed tonight.

The other day, I saw an elderly man get stopped at Lidl when an alarm went off as he left and another old man set off the alarm at Marks but was able to walk out. I just saw another old man get stopped by police with a load of shopping bags. I assume old people are sometimes overlooked.

So the vehicle that is transporting my mum to the hospital has no other passengers but they still wouldn't allow me to go with her. It makes no practical sense. We will arrive at a different times and she needs help once she gets to the hospital. She can't go to the toilet on her own. I'm so angry.

Someone on this train has poo breath. Sometimes that's from drinking coffee. I tend to get Marmite breath and that's probably worse.

Moorfields eye hospital uses different private companies for patient transport. Before covid I was allowed to go with her as her carer. She has had a fall and has 2 fractures and can't walk but I'm not allowed to go with and they have a camera in the car to keep an eye on the driver.

I've been sleeping at my mum's this month and the spare bed needs a new mattress. I found a new one on charity Scope's eBay shop for under £50 for a single memory foam mattress. I was seeing what mobility equipment they had so it's a bonus to find a mattress.

My mum's fridge makes a sound every now and then that can be imagined to be my mum calling me. I fall for it every time, mostly because she needs me help at the moment. The haunted fridge is quite chatty.

A mere 4 and a half hours of waiting for patient transport and my mum is now in a wheelchair being wheeled out of the hospital but they still have to wait for one more patient and then off they go, delivering patients to their homes.

My poor mum has been waiting over 4 hours to be transported home from hospital. Because she has pelvic fractures she can't go in a taxi or I would have arranged for one. She just wants to be home.

My mum is waiting for hospital transport to take her home from her ward. She is going to be in a wheelchair initially and will have home therapy, so she can't go home in a cab. The NHS contracted out the transport service and there aren't enough drivers for the demand.

I bought two meals from the Thai stall in the town centre today because I knew I would be too tired to cook tonight and my mum will be discharged from hospital tomorrow so I won't have time to cook for myself then. Very grateful I could afford the food.

There's been a Tesla car inside the local shopping centre for a few weeks. Initially there were staff at the car, occasionally chatting to people. The past 2 days, I haven't seen any staff and today there was a cabinet of merch next to the car. Why would you buy Tesla merch? Or even a Tesla?

A tad pissed off that I, not a medical person, has had to identify my mum's adverse side effects to the last 2 pain meds she has been on and the healthcare assistants on her ward have been useless and have given wrong information. Hoping the doctor will have an alternative tomorrow.

My mum might be discharged from hospital this weekend. She's so motivated to get home where the food is better and she doesn't need to wait for a nurse to help her go to the toilet because I'll be staying with her to help her.

Answered my mum's phone to a scam caller saying it's about appliance cover. I made the caller repeat herself a few times, then said everything got burned including me and I'm a ghost coming down the phone line to haunt her. She asked me to put the phone down but I said woooo! She cut the call.

This morning I have a kitchen design appointment at IKEA that I will attend but I won't go ahead with it because their pushy salesman who called me on Friday afternoon made me so angry that I'm looking elsewhere. He paid no attention to what I was saying and was really argumentative.

My mum's in a hospital ward where she's getting therapy to recover from fractures to her pelvis. She's on painkillers so she can't always remember where I put her things. She accidentally recorded herself apologising to a nurse for not knowing where her clothes were and it's heartbreaking.

It's been a hard week (10 days to be exact) so I did a little self care tonight. I had a curry for supper and painted my nails a colour called tequila sunrise. It's a very bright orange red. Matches my eyeballs.

So pissed off with some of the flat owners in my street who have decided to have a special meeting of just a few of the owners to decide on a new property management company and have included one man who seems to have put his flat in his wife's name. She's never attended a meeting, just him.

The NHS is brilliant and should be funded so much more. Spent about 8 hours standing next to my mum's trolley in a corridor. She was already receiving treatment but wasn't comfortable. She's in a room in A&E now but not yet admitted. I have a chair to sit on.

Finally the council has sent me a form to fill in to document the leak from the shower in the flat above. I have to keep a record of the problem but they don't always shower at the same time every day and sometimes it's late at night. I have lots of photos of the damage.

Our new managing agents have resigned already. I don't blame them. They were inundated with demands from the flat owners who made them repeat things they had said at our meeting last week. They don't have the time to deal with demanding people so now we are in the shit.

There's this man in the group chat for the flat owners in my street. He won't shut up with his demands and is completely wrong info on how the blocks and even how companies are run. And then he copied his ChatGPT link into a message and it all made sense.

The property owners in the group chat are blustering fools. I'm going to have to mute the chat soon.

The owner of the leaky flat upstairs has been so careful over the years not to let me have her contact details but she's in a WhatsApp group and is so angry about something else that she's added a screenshot that includes her email address. Obviously I also have her mobile number too now.

I've been using the free version of the Visible app to see if it helps me with my pacing and helps avoid a crash. It's been 2 weeks so far and no crash.
