He has a number of half-siblings, as is common for miqo'te. Three of them are hunters, one is a healer (she mostly works with traditional medicines but knows a little meracydian conjury) and one is a guard. He hasn't been able to speak to anyone in his family since he left Meracydia, though.

Death is a cause for sadness, but the context is important. The dead mist be respected. Something about a land whose dead were reanimated for their enemy's voidsent army... The dragons remember, and it is common practice for Meracydians to compose songs about the deceased.

Stares at the First Brood pointedly. (He kills Thordan with Nidhogg's help, because he doesn't use the Eye to kill Igeyohrm. It is perhaps the first time in a millenia that Nidhogg and a mortal man agree on something. It does not last.)

Reminder for the Gathering Society Quests that you can just put like 21 of the quest items they ask for in your pocket and not have to go gather them every time. Your pockets will be an incident for a while but the time saving is nice if you're running them on alts or have other stuff you do too.

Art was not in Eorzea when the moon fell. 1.0 wol for his story was a shard of Cylva - Lahabrea thought this was very funny in a way, given how Elidibus clings to the ones he saved from the void. Nobody remembers her, or her friends. A tragedy of heroism just like Elidibus, really.

host an art party, but part way through, a smoke bomb hits the floor and knocks everyone out. they all wake up, tied to chairs. i walk out from behind a curtain and slam my hand on a TV screen. it turns on and shows a guide for unending coil of bahamut. you're all becoming legends, by will or won't.

Art is cold on average but not really an ice cube... Elidibus is definitely an icecube though lmao. Haurche is very warm! Thancred I hc used to be warmer, Lahacred ran HOT and now Thancred runs pretty chilly. Tldr everyone fights over Haurchefant lmao

Moreso since he started training as a knight, but he's still recovering from how his post-calamity infection ruined his health... He's very thin and is trying to put more muscle and weight back on. Haurchefant tutors him!

Min height m!miqo, which I think is 5'4"? He is fine with it. Sometimes wishes he was smaller when he wants to not be noticed, but that rarely lasts long.

Technically piano. He learned how to play for Francel's Firmament concert and can play specifically that piece, to an adequate level. He is not particularly interested in learning more, he thinks they're big and clunky XD

He's a miqo'te, the concept of monogamy is baffling to him. He also separates relationship types differently to, say, your average hyur. Once I realised the fandom wouldn't evisverate me for it, polyam was the natural choice.

did I ever post my beard era Haurche here? after his growth spurt, he tried growing one but it made him look like the spitting image of his father, just w silver-blue hair, and it escalated the abuse from his stepmother so he kept clean shaven. But he grew it on the First bc Thancred likes Uri’s. 😅

This is not a "take" it's a personal opinion. I think that while angst is good and all, it would be nice to get something celebrating Haurchefant that isn't related to him dying, for once. I don't think his death is the reason people loved him as a character.

lrp: for a long time I thought I had genuinely started to dislike Haurchefant after a period of him being one of my favorites. Turns out what I disliked was him being reduced to just his death, over and over, and in turn the emotional impact of every moment in the story also being reduced to that.

Ar'telan is his attempt to Eorzeanify his Meracydian name (unsuccessfully). His full name is Rhei'telan Yovh'a Nbolo Tia, Moonblessed of the Raptors. (Meracydia finds people dead a lot, so you are expected to record everything relevant in your name)?

You are allowed to do content blind. You do not need to look up a guide on how to do a brand new dungeon or a new trial or even an old Stormblood dungeon. It's OK. You will become a better player and will have a better time if you don't make it a job.

Block the pf assholes. Just block them. They have nothing good to say and you are perfectly capable of doing high-end, ignore them. But also don't. Don't do high end in pf it's miserable. (Ex excluded that's tolerable)
