I didnāt grow up dreaming of doing a one man show. I grew up dreaming of surviving. But somehow, between immigrant parents, and figuring out I was gay I found a voice. That voice helped looped me write and now Iām taking it to Edinburgh Fringe.

Instead of an Indian man, the stage adaptation of Hindi film Dilwale Dulhania Le Jayenge features a white man in the lead. Fair enough, maybe the story has been rewritten and has different casting requirements. But, I don't know, British South Asian men can be hot too you know? Give them a chance.
