That Mahiro Maeda doc is about 90% moody slow-mo shots of water/rocks on a beach. And of him browsing books in a store. There are only a few glimpses of his amazing artwork. It's a bit superficial (and oddly melancholy?), but still pretty interesting.

Parece ser que, junto a «Cool Cool Bye», el Studio Bebow de Tomonori Kogawa tambien estrenó otra OVA llamada «Greed» (1985). Ni idea de su existencia. Esta tiene un corte más clásico pero mantiene el estilo de Kogawa. Os dejo por aquí más diseños de producción y bon dia a totes:

Me he cruzado por casualidad con estos settei de la OVA «Cool Cool Bye» (1986) del Studio Bebow, la cual desconocía totalmente, y me ha parecido muy curioso e interesante el diseño de personajes realizado por Tomonori Kogawa. Os lo dejo por aquí para los curiosos:

SOUNDS OF WINTER (Netflix): Likable(?) but fairly complicated people doing not much at all in attractively shot, mostly urban Japanese locations. Melancholy vibe. I kinda enjoy it.

Just happened across this EARTHSEA graphic novel adaptation, released last year. Immensely surprised that great numbers of ppl apparently find this bland, low-contrast take featuring (what looks like) stiffly posed, painted-over 3D model characters "stunningly beautiful". Dramatic lack of juice imo.
