We're so glad to announce that our new book is out today! 🥳 Tokyo Mystery Café vol.2 is now available in French bookstores.

We absolutely love Japanese #cyberpunk from the 80-90s (for example the films of Shinya Tsukamoto, …) so we really enjoyed drawing this neon-soaked illustration! It was also interesting to use #watercolors to draw this because it is not the technique usually used for this kind of atmosphere.

This game is great! We’ve really enjoyed playing it. The art style is so good and the story very fun.

From Sapiens to Ludens - part 2 The 2nd sketch we made at Kojima Productions’ building after our meeting with Hideo Kojima. We like drawing science fiction using watercolors. It creates an interesting contrast.

Can’t wait for it! It’s going to be amazing 🤩

Each print is handmade at Mokuhankan, a traditional workshop based in Asakusa, Tokyo. The pigments and textures are so warm. The result is just perfect! 🤩

✨Galaxy - Dreams of Future Past✨ This is the 2nd woodblock print from our series in collaboration with Mokuhankan, exploring nostalgic views of a future Japan. For this one, we wanted to blend science fiction with the style of traditional ukiyo-e.

Our original drawing for the Flooded City woodblock print. We used a Pentel brush pen with custom ink to create downstrokes and upstrokes. It takes around 10 days for Taran to carve the illustration so we have to give him interesting lines.

🗼The Flooded City - Dreams of Future Past🗼 This is the 3rd woodblock print from our series in collaboration with Mokuhankan, exploring nostalgic views of a future Japan. This one is about climate change and, of course, about Yamanote line, the most iconic train in Tokyo. 🚃🚃🚃
