Today we went on a LONG walk to a place I haven't been to for ages, but I remembered all my favourite puddles and mud patches! It's been rainy so there was more water than mud - so I didn't get nearly as muddy as I like 🤣

Today we are back in our local field, and we have snow, which is fun (for me, not mum 🤭) - but my muddy puddle isn't a puddle!

It's a frosty 2 degrees in the sun (it was MINUS 3 this morning!) - perfect weather for skinny dipping in my opinion. I know not everyone agrees 😂😂

We're sorry we haven't posted anything for a while, but mum's still not fully well. The doctor now assumes it was Covid she had before the Norovirus and then the chest infection, but it's left her with extreme fatigue. She's slowly improving, but gets exhausted easily. Love to all our friends 💙

It's warmed up to minus 2°C today - perfect for skinny-dipping 😁 Mum says I'm crazy, but honestly, my coat's so dense the water doesn't even reach my skin 😂 The trees look very pretty all frosted - we don't often get a freeze hard enough to see it white like this. It makes mum happy to see it 😊

So embarrassing, mum! 😳 I keep telling her that I'm totally weatherproof, but she says it's minus 6 and she feels guilty taking me out naked! Honestly, woman, I'm a Border Collie, we're bred for living outdoors in the Scottish mountains and WE DON'T WEAR COATS 😠

It's perfect collie conditions here - cold, wet and muddy 😁 My big puddle is now practically a lake, and it's lovely splashing around and sniffing all the good sniffs. I hope everyone else is having a happy start to the new year too!

Well, I finally did it - I got rid of the cats 😲😳 We have never got along (I blame Pepper the tortie, but apparently it's also my fault), and so now they've gone to live with Auntie Julie, where they will have the run of the house and lots of attention and cuddles. I'm not sorry!
