Prynhawn da friends. It’s been a flippin’ hot one in South Wales today. Mum went on a boat to see if she could find a breeze. This is Cardiff Bay/Bae Caerdydd.

Mum saw Mark Steel at the Hay Festival yesterday afternoon. He told us about his cancer diagnosis, treatment and recovery. We love Mark’s humour and he was on good form yesterday. A reminder to cherish each other, and life.

Mum saw @ledbydonkeys.org at the Hay Festival on Friday. They were talking about their activism and how we can all do something, even community activities. It’s harder to break a united community with lies. They were tremendous.

Good news friends. After a surprising visit to the V.E.T where she did a VERY thorough examination, the poop situation is sorted. Looks like I’d pulled a muscle or something & couldn’t get comfy to poop. Had some anti inflammatory meds & all is well again. Here I am on Barry Island beach afterwards.

It looks like there are random yellow lines on the barrage near Penarth. If you stand in a particular place and line them up they make three circles. It’s a public art installation by Felice Varini and it’s called ‘Three ellipses for three locks’.

Friends, have you ever heard of Plygain? It’s a Welsh language service sung in the early hours of Christmas Day. Mum went to St Teilo’s, which is in the St Fagan’s museum of Welsh life last weekend for their Plygain. Beautiful service she said.

Sorry we haven’t been around much friends, things going on in Bledd towers at the moment. It’s very cold here today so it’s a stay in and stay warm day. Here’s Cardiff Bay at sunset last night. Very, very cold.

We went to Dyffryn Gardens today and I had an ice cream. Someone called Jack Frost has been, but I must have been asleep when he arrived. Stay warm friends. ❤️❄️

It was foggy in Porthcawl yesterday. Some people were surfing which looked like fun. We had chips and a walk along the sea front. Nanny has a new wheelchair and Grampy may need driving lessons for it.
