. A rare moment of the written and the on camera versions being equally beautiful. For me normally books > screen; this is just different ways of enjoying and extending the loveliness. Thank you Rónán for a beautiful story.

The bookseller at the Little Apple bookshop in York told me Bob Mortimer was in the shop and is a fan of Leonard and Hungry Paul. Am unable to confirm via a lazy Google search, so will file under "Huge if true" for now.

Yesterday was my monthly Watercolour Nature Journal Class & we did daffodils! Having previously been terrified of any kind of paint, I'm beginning to enjoy watercolours. Also love exercises like sketching without looking at the paper, not taking the pencil off, or drawing with non-dominant hand...

Robert Jenrick appears to think that Rachel Reeves decides what goes on our bank notes, not the Governor of the Bank of England. If he doesn't know what roles the Chancellor of the Exchequer carries out, is he fit enough to be an MP?

@colettesnowden.bsky.social
novel. An addictive story about a young woman who goes missing on a night out. I blazed through it. A polyphonic novel, perfectly paced, with Colette's genius for details. The characters feel like they're sitting inches away from you.

know, I know, times are tough and money is short but as we find ourselves increasingly in a world where stories are censored and the corporates buy up shelf space with their discounts. If you are able please do support Independent publishers.
