After an incredible few years, my time at the AEI has come to an end. I’m grateful for the lovely memories and collaborators I’ve had the privilege to work with. I’m excited to start a new chapter as a Marie Sklodowska-Curie Postdoctoral Fellow at the University of Southampton.

People who study relativity like to "conformally compactify" spacetime, creating a finite patch of coordinates, and attaching a boundary. This makes it possible to talk about going to "infinity" more precisely. This turns Minkowski space into what they call a "diamond". 🧪⚛️ #🧮

Absolutely agree—science communication is vital, but not at the expense of personal wellbeing. We can’t effectively engage the public if we’re burnt out or in hostile spaces. Choosing where to communicate is part of setting healthy boundaries, and that’s ok.

Interested in the future of gravitational-wave astronomy? Cosmic Explorer, the proposed US 40 km gravitational-wave observatories will observe millions of compact-binary mergers throughout the Universe and cosmic time. CE will hopefully be joined by the Einstein Telescope and space-based LISA.
