Nigel Farage says the Ā£5m gift he got from a crypto billionaire was a āreward for campaigning for Brexit for 27 yearsā On May 5, Mr Farage told the BBC the money was āthe only way I can protect myself for the rest of my lifeā as he was the āmost attacked, physically, politician of modern timesā

Nigel Farageās partner, a former waitress not known to have any private money, bought a Ā£1 million house for cash shortly after he secretly received Ā£5 million from a Thailand-based cryptocurrency billionaire - the same house that he claimed, months previously, that he was about to pay for himself.

Fun fact: the magical child safety solution which Jess Philips cited in her resignation letter is a vendor-specific offering, which benefited from an intense PR and lobbying campaign, and was previously praised by ... Prince Andrew. I always keep the receipts.

Match of the Day analysis is astonishingly poor. Rooney using United using the fewest players since Jan to claim they don't have a big enough squad. Or perhaps is it that being out of all cup competitions they don't need to rotate? Didn't even seem to occur to him.

Labour's clearly not being "wiped out", as the BBC's own figures show above their blurb, and yet they still parrot Farage's nonsense. Journalism RIP.

Tommy Tiernan is just exceptional at interviewing. Apparently he does all these off-the-cuff, not knowing who the guest is. It's a different class to the Norton/Ross/Winkleman PR jobs we get in the UK.

Regular reminder that you, an individual, should almost always book direct with your airline. Also: avoid booking through a third party online travel agent (OTA) like lastm*nute/book*ing dot com. This was the case before the current Gulf/oil/jetfuel crisis, and it's even more the case now.
