On the tablet, whenever I try to move the marker on the timeline, Blender ends up crashing. I can draw now, but it'll break if I go beyond the one frame. I wonder if that's a software issue.

I can't get a virtual keyboard to show up. Funny how that works. Maliit isn't even an option anymore, it was completely removed like 3 weeks ago.

Why is it that GNOME, a desktop environment that looks like it would work so well on a tablet, just doesn't work on a tablet? I tried running Blender to draw on it, and it crashed everytime. Switch to KDE, now it runs smooth AND I can draw with no problems! Anyway, I'm trying to rice my tablet now.

This tablet's pretty good. Imagine what I can do with a stylus.

I love that the timeline can count in time units instead of just frames now. No more guessing and wondering why animations move too fast when I thought I timed it right.

I feel so satisfied with this model, even though I haven't done anything with it since I declared it finished. I'll see if there is anything else I can do now that Blender hit 5.0. #blender #b3d #oc

I exported one of the example animations that Moho has, and it imports perfectly in Godot, but Blender shifted a few things around for some reason. It was the fox with the boar, and both of their eyes, his hand, and the tusks were offset a bit. It's still cool, though!

I can't get sub 0:44 with anyone but Gwen in Glitch Kart. For some reason, she's faster than everyone else, so I guess it makes sense why the leaderboard is a Gwen sweep. Closest I got was sub 0:43.

I have been inundated with options for a website. DIY, generators, templates, all without wordpress or any of the other paid options. Imma guess I can do it in Godot too, I just haven't looked into it yet. Hmm . . .

If there was a way to turn my Huion display tablet into a standalone tablet, I probably would do it. I could probably do it with a microcomputer, and just give it its own special case to hold it all together. Think I just miss having a tablet.

I get the impression (from noone) that using Xara to build a website is kinda dumb, considering I could've done everything it does for free. It honestly helps in the drafting process, at least. I may go back one day and rewrite the whole thing so that I'd be able to add responsiveness seamlessly.

On October 12, 2025, a fighting game using the Nickelodeon IP, Avatar, was announced. The footage itself didn't seem too wild; however it's important to note that the characters were "high definition" 2D sprites that were very much faithful to their t.v. designs. 1/9

I finally got a printer I can "play" with without modifying it. I was able to print a zine out and still have plenty of ink left over! As far as binding, I didn't have an office stapler, so I used my sewing machine (it's heavy duty, but I think the upper limit might be around 50 pages).

#blog #pain I demand a printer that is completely consumer repairable with parts I can find on the open market, with a refillable ink tank, and with firmware AND software that is completely open source. It doesn't have to scan, it just has to print in all the standard formats. Bump the patents.
