One of my favorite things about romance (esp. histrom) is you can say something like "some light kidnapping" and I'll just nod my head and go "well I have to have that." Nobody does it like Romance.

As long as the blurb says what it should, I say go for it. Especially when historical romance is in such a crisis. I’m team rooting for Romance and all my friends and favourite authors to succeed. If that’s what it takes, I’m all for it. Make bold moves. Take some big swings.
