A free and democratic society cannot silence comedians because the President doesn’t like what they say. This is an attack on free speech and cannot be allowed to stand. All elected officials need to speak up and push back on this undemocratic act.

Als de een de ander schoffeert, heet dat geen ‘ruziën‘. Veel nieuwsmedia laten ons weer danig in de steek. Net als met het woord ‘polarisatie’: als één groep radicaliseert en de ander niet, dan is dat geen polarisatie. Ik zou willen dat journalisten hun woorden zorgvuldiger kozen.

Are we financing our own downfall? It sure seems like it. Most (semi) government agencies in Europe pay Microsoft. Microsoft pays Trump. Trump is trying to cripple Europe. We should seriously start to consider European alternatives to Windows, Teams and Office.
