I know that there are people outside Chicago who are paying attention and seeing these videos but there are no words for how it feels when the videos show everyday places in your neighborhood, places that are part of your routine. The sense of violation is profound.

People should absolutely be writing about how ICE's occupation of their cities is transforming life in these places, and they should be publishing it in print on paper - not just social media posts. There needs to be a record of this. Things are changing in measurable ways for the worse every day.

Today’s raids show we need more and more people watching out and prepared to make noise. Saving the ICIRR hotline in your phone, picking up a whistle, and occasionally going outside during daylight hours are so easy to do, and the cumulative effect of us all doing them can save someone.

If you are on ICE watch in the Rogers Park vicinity please have a buddy and exercise extreme caution. ICE has assaulted verifiers today and arrested at least one of our people. If you are vulnerable to ICE in this area, I recommend staying inside if possible.
