I hit my 200th coaster credit on this trip - Giant Dipper at Santa Cruz Beach Boardwalk. It’s over 100 years old and still a great ride.

We did the Animation Academy at Disney California Adventure yesterday and drew Mei from Turning Red. First is mine, second is Carrie’s. We really enjoyed it!

Cali trip Day 2 - spent most of the day at California’s Great America. Gold Striker and Railblazer were excellent coasters, plus there was a weird motion simulator theater ride with Mass Effect theming. We grabbed lunch at Happiness Cafe and dinner from Puranpoli.

California Trip Day 1: After arriving, we had Mr. Charlie’s in San Francisco (a vegan parody of McDonald’s). A pretty decent approximation of the delicious garbage that is a McDonald’s cheeseburger.

I inadvertently timed my edible to kick in about halfway through the Severance season 2 finale and I’m still not sure if that was a great idea or the worst idea.

I don't go to a lot of concerts these days, but the stars aligned and I'll be going to a Pixies show and the final date of Wu Tang's final tour within 5 days of each other in July. Run the Jewels is opening for Wu Tang, so that's a nice bonus.

I started learning German because I thought it could be useful in the board gaming space. I stuck with it because it’s sort of fun. I will likely be visiting Germany in the next five years or so since there are some good theme parks there, so it will be good to know at least a bit of the language.

Carrie also tried Wildcat’s Revenge with me yesterday. It’s my 5th favorite coaster out of the 183 I’ve ridden since I started keeping track in August 2023. It was a big step up in intensity compared to the other coasters she’s done, but she liked it! It’s fun sharing my favorite coasters with her.

Testing out how video posting works here. Carrie and I rode Candymonium at Hersheypark yesterday. I like this one a little more each time I ride it, and Carrie enjoyed her first ride on it too!

Today’s trip to Six Flags Great Adventure was a ton of fun! Barely any lines all day, so I was able to ride 13 different attractions (and go on the Wonder Woman ride twice). Now I am home and exhausted.
