Had a wonderful time last night at the @bafta.org nominees party :) Met the very cool fellow nominees in my category… I’m nominated for my score for a stunning wildlife documentary film called “Tiger”. I’ll be at the awards ceremony for tv arts and crafts this coming Sunday. 🙏🏾💫

I have to admit… I find X increasingly toxic everyday. The exploding car megalomaniac is openly supporting and promoting a British, far right criminal. Isn’t it enough that he made an American, mentally unstable criminal president? All money, no conscience. X is just stupid, depressing and hateful.

Sitting in the dark looking out the window at city lights feeling happy to still be alive. My mum went through a lot too this year. The world seemed a cruel, confusing place in 2024… Yet… Christmas and the new year for me are about gratitude, compassion and hope. A new dawn brings promise.

I cannot even begin to express my deepest sorrow at the passing of Zakir-ji. He dazzled me as a teenager and inspired me throughout my adulthood. Some geniuses become musical greats and others transcend the limitations of their instrument to redefine music itself. That is just part of his legacy.

Was an excellent evening Nitin. Not sure who the sound engineer was but they did a great job….possibly the best sound quality I’ve ever heard at a venue. Musicianship was outstanding.
