Baking after midnight- oatmeal chocolate chip and oatmeal salted caramel chip cookies from a mix but I used some extra spices, butter vanilla baking emulsion and fresh duck eggs! Also I managed to use a cookie dough scooper and still got wildly different sizes of cookies. Still, fresh cookies!!!

Holy Week miracle? My black thumb of death managed a new bloom on my African violet after existing as nothing more than a clump of sad leaves I had to prune every week. I’ve kept it alive for a year now. I was thinking instead it was actively dying!

Like everyone else, I had to check that this was real. Sadly it is. The president is having an Easter Sunday freak out and threatening civilian infrastructure.
