Crazy experiment I just saw: Trax put down 1kilo silver bar in NYC on a high traffic corner in Manhattan. In 10 minutes someone picked it up and took it. In Tokyo the same experiment took place. Over 10,000 people passed by, some even picked it up but then put it down. No one took it.

What industry folks do you want to see more of on Bluesky? I’m pretty tapped into the entertainment/music industry and tech industry (various verticals from Adtech to Gaming) Just got some invites and trying to figure out how best to onboard folks.

Sadly this is true. Consumers don’t want to admit it. But community building is full time. You can’t expect high value sustainability from people who do it for free. This mentality segments the community building to people who have money in the bank and resources to do it for free.
