As of Saturday I am one of those people. Had to get rid of some old PS2 DBZ games and a few old Sega Saturn titles that I no longer need, but yeah got on that Switch 2 train. Although some of my Switch games don't run on the 2 yet, which is kinda crappy but I am not getting rid of my Switch.

I’m probably in the minority here, but Chrono Trigger deserves more than just an HD2D remake, if it even happens. The original game still looks amazing on its own. Making that into slight 3D seems pointless. It also doesn’t need remade anyway, and it’s weird it hasn’t been ported to modern consoles.

I saw this briefly and thought "Oh that's funny? I am sure this will be a funny thing....PERFECT SCORE" I am dust....

Nintendo should make "The Nintendo." A modern HD console that plays all of its retro cartridges and offers more games to purchase online and as physical reprints. Or this could be a dock for Switch 2. It'd be a pretty fun way to counter Steam on Xbox.

This looks like a pretty sick game, plus on PC and PS5, so there are options besides just grabbing a Series X Although still kinda want one just to add another console to the pile

The first game I beat this year was Echos Of Wisdom. After spending 2024 playing and beating all my must-haves from 2023 (thanks to my wife for the PS5 on my 40th birthday for allowing that to happen), I am still working on AC6. It was such a fun game, working on "my" best of 2024. Lots to come!

Download everything and support the hobbyist engineers who make vintage games easy to play wherever and however you want to play them. Old games are never going to be cheap again no matter how mad you get about it, we aren't going back, so either move on or just be a grumpy old person until you die.
