Ran my first ttrpg game in nearly a decade tonight drunk off my ass and wildly unprepared because I thought I was a player not gm. It went well and I can't wait to keep going

In slightly happier news, I started sending physical mail to friends I've lost touch with and don't know how to reach back out to without it being awkward and now I have plans to play board games Friday night

After more than a month of delays with my promotion, I am finally moving into a more normal human schedule. Four years of waking up at midnight are finally at an end. I had to give up weekend evenings and my short commute for now but I think it is worth the trade

I've been waiting for a time sensitive email from a recruiter for the past couple days and unsubscribing from every other email that I get out of frustration and impatience

I did two leaving the house activities this weekend and feel so much less terrible with myself. But I am also tired and don't want to go to work in 10 hours because I don't want to deal with People anymore

After a week of work, I deserved a little treat and a new restaurant opened near me with katsudon on the menu. It has been so long and I forgot how much I love it. Tastes so good after 11 hour days. It is dangerous for me to have access to this without having to drive a city away

It's been so long since I was this drunk. Wine keeps me awake so I can be social past 3pm but the diminishing returns are real and now I'm rolling around in bed with no one to yap at until I pass out

I am more wine than person right now. It's great because the wine is all mine and great because I make good wine choices
