Sometimes I wonder if our many years of jokes about writers hating writing and doing anything but writing, etc, have convinced people that the writing part is the hurdle and the goal is just to have a thing in hand. But I am here to tell you: the writing is the best part. The act is the thing.

Really though, I think my default state is watching movies I like over and over...I could probably come up with at least two dozen movies I've seen more than six times, if not even more (probably even more) XD

I mean I drove 300 miles just to watch Nezha when it came out, I would've done it for Legend of Hei 2 but NO. Because they hate me, personally.

I watched this movie 8 times the year it came out, even before there were English subtitles! Definitely A Movie Of All Time for me I'm still pissed the second one didn't come to a theater within 300 miles.....I wanna see it so bad.

...I've already written 76,397 words this year?? when did THAT happen?? Well, I'm not complaining!

Second Chances draft 4 DONE Untitled 3 draft 2 is 2-3 chapters away from done (no closer to finding a title, sob sob) The Fairy draft 6 is up next and Must Be (hopefully the final one)... BUT I've been thinking a lot about a novel I wrote in 2013, which I set aside in 2015
