President Trump has announced that he is imposing taxes on energy imported from Canada. What does this mean for Connecticut? Sharply higher electric prices which we will feel immediately. The New England electric grid currently gets 10%-12% of its energy from Quebec.

The President is threatening to impound massive amounts of federal funding for states in violation of the law and the US Constitution. As Senate chair of the Human Services committee I can say that we are monitoring the situation closely here in Connecticut.

If NYC can do universal pre-K why can't Connecticut?
