Lawmakers are on notice: New Mexicans want real solutions to public safety, not failed solutions that have done nothing to make our communities safer.

This unprecedented and likely unconstitutional bill would result in a significant spike in racial profiling of longtime residents. Thousands of people could be put in detention without due process, all while lining the pockets of private prisons.
