Unfortunately RE9 turned out pretty bad for me. Grace's first section was really engrossing, but it nosedives immediately after. Insanity mode for Leon is just fuckshit where nothing flinches and there are no rules to anything, just an rng slop fest that makes re4 remake look brilliant in comparison

Some Resident Evil Requiem discoveries🔍 Usually your melee prompt knocks zombies into the floor, but if melee while sprinting you instead send them stepping back a great distance to let you get a wall splat into hatchet followup. Makes the wall followups from 4RE more common and practical.

Been playing Pathologic 3. I was wondering why they would make a 3 instead of releasing the Bachelor as DLC but they definitely earned the number with the way they rethought the entire gameplay concept to fit the worldview of the Bachelor. Where P2 discourages savescumming, this game canonizes it.

Playing RE4 on Pro with the HD mod. First time I played it was on mouse and keyboard, now I am correcting that mistake. Game is still overall pretty easy but without mouseaim its actually possible to feel overwhelmed by enemies when you cant flick shot them on reaction to any threatening movement

AT Jin Dahaad is pretty bad. Two new moves, one of which is just that he does the leviathan body slam twice, and the other is a sweeping laser with blindspot behind his head which is where you want to be anyways... just not a lot going on here. Unfortunately AT Rey Dau remains the standout by far

Played the Pragmata Demo. My thoughts on the game remain the same as when I watched the pre-release footage, the core concept is strong and can be really fun once they ramp up the encounters but it needs challenge. Guns being limited use pickups is good and will let them control what tools you have.

I created a mod to buff Bloodbath Diablos' head and horn hitzones to match the sever hitzones and make the fight much more enjoyable for blunt weapons (imo) Now I can finally clear EX Bloodbath with Hammer.... gamebanana.com/mods/638456

playing Dos hub it was pretty cool to see an event quest for killing three Congas in the arena that gave practically no rewards, but had a subquest for killing a D.Hermitaur that was in that arena as well. The way its setup means you have to kill the monster without killing all the Congas.

The 2nd encounter with Sol Titanion is my fav boss concept in a while. Being in the yellow areas increases the percentage until it burns you at 100, so how you avoid attacks is restricted by needing to minimize the time spent in the heat and route around returning to the shade. Pretty cool!
