There's few things I hate more than saying its ok for kids movies to be slop because kids can engage with emotionally complex media (see Bluey, She-Ra, Steven Universe, ect...) and giving them slop teaches kids to not engage their brain when experiencing art, which teaches them to do so elsewhere.

I wish more people would talk about how film technologies and lighting techniques were developed with light skin in mind. Also how current film and television's preference for dim lighting exacerbates this issue. It's genuinely a real problem.

Picked up a 4k of Suspiria from Synapse films at horror hound. Got my first look at it while on my lunch break. OMG if there was ever a movie that needed a 4k HDR transfer it is Suspiria. It's simply STUNNING!
