It's _seriously_ hot out. I'm fine, I have nearly new and quite effective central AC. I don't need to go outside and mostly haven't. I sat on the porch in lieu of taking a sauna and my achy joints appreciated it. But an hour was enough and the AC afterwards was lovely.

Resident niece's internal thermostat is set several degrees higher than mine so the A/C thermostat is set lower than is comfortable for me. (It's also better at dehumidifying soggy FL summer air at that temperature). So I'm wrap myself in a heated electric throw to compensate. This makes me popular.

I have new flooring. I love it. I did not love moving stuff off the floors, putting it somewhere else, then repeating this in order to floor the other half of the place. It was exhausting. I'm still trying to organize and clean the place. But at least the floors are way easier to clean.
