I read an early version of Hotcakes two years ago and I've been dreaming of the day a lucky publisher would give it a home ever since. This story is a reminder of the good we all can do, even (especially) in dark times. It's about hotcakes, yes, but also the human spirit, and it's transcendent.

Just watched this and as soon as I'm done typing I'm going to rewatch it. The animation is stunning, with fluidity like a more organic Inception meets Dr. Strange, but with an art style all its own. The story is propulsive and mindbending with a stunning character driven emotional core. Go watch!
