We are currently thinking through how the underlying principles that led to projects like the CUNY Academic Commons, Manifold, Blogs@Baruch, Vocat, OpenLab, CBox, ASHP, and the great OER work happening in CUNY's libraries should inform curricula, pedagogy, policy, and strategy related to genAI.

I so appreciate this attention to what we’ve been doing with ed tech at CUNY and the notion that the higher ed ecosystem can benefit from it. Too many folks to name have been involved in those projects over the years, and it builds upon work and commitments at CUNY that goes back generations.

This is a VERY well crafted lawsuit. 1) Plaintiff is natural born. 2) He was detained 2X in a fast-growing part of Alabama, not in a city that Brett Kavanaugh could be easily duped into believing was all migrants. 3) Unwarranted detentions were on private property. 4) He showed Real ID both times.

Harvard can't use someone's race to decide if they are going to be a student, but ICE can use a student's race to decide if they are going to detain/incarcerate them. According to the Supreme Court, race can only be a factor if you want hurt, not help, someone.

This isn’t Moscow or Beijing. It’s Chicago. Masked federal agents grabbed U.S. citizens protesting ICE and threw them into an unmarked van. “Who are you? Where are you taking them?” people shouted. “You are kidnapping them!” What has America become?

Another way of saying this is that the murderous strike was carried out without any legal authority.
