Nancy is a great coach. The lineup and tactics with so little time in charge may give some credence to the stubbornness, inflated ego, rumors post MLS Cup. I know he did it here too and came out smelling like a rose, but at least he had a full training camp to implement ideas.

Source: Celtic FC finally contacted #Crew96 late last week re Columbus coach Wilfried Nancy. The two clubs, and Nancy, are in advanced stage of negotiations to get Nancy to Glasgow. Talks concern Nancy buyout as well as that of at least one Crew assistant. Yeah.

I was rooting for Philly even though I prefer NYCFC’s style. I have nothing against San Diego but if one of San Diego/Minnesota wins the whole thing I’d probably go with Minnesota. I realize this is a contradiction in my preferred on field tactics.

I’d be interested in Henry Kessler as a free agent. If the Moreira rumors are true we could do a lot worse than giving Zawadzki more freedom by moving him to the RCB role and having something like Amundsen-Kessler-Zawadzki As the backline. #Crew96
