everytime theres another round of Geese discourse im like "yup i still think theyre a good band having fun with it" then when I re-listen to Heavy Metal i'm like "GOD IS SPEAKING TO THIS BOY"

reading multiple books on Throbbing Gristle and getting into the live recordings is really helping me out honestly, giving me a bit of a boost creatively

as much as I personally don't like Gen, I do feel inspired after reading their book about COUM and TG and all that... prolly what they would have wanted!!

re-obsessed with Throbbing Gristle, devouring any books I can find about them and related projects...😭

well this was an interesting back-to-back read... lots of complex feelings here, but I came out of it loving the music of Throbbing Gristle more, didn't really change my perception of Gen tho...

started Genesis P-Orridge's memoir, and already like... idk... might get a bit grating reading a self-described "cultural engineer" describe how important their art is... we shall see

King Crimson is probably the best band ever, for how fucking inconsistent they were anyway!
