Not one peep in the State of the Union or rebuttal speeches about class issues. It's still all "right" and "left." To keep us from looking up. I won't vote for another candidate who doesn't make class warfare a central tenet of their campaign. I'm tired of us getting our asses kicked.

Authoritarianism is rising because our democracy was failing before Trump. When pro-democracy forces take back power, we can’t just restore the status quo. We need to change a political system that gives oligarchs a veto over working people. We need a new democracy.

It’s interesting to see the backlash against Ring cameras after that ad. I think many have been skeptical and vocal against it for a long time but I think the ICE operations in cities has perhaps made people more acutely aware of the dangers of mass surveillance.
