social media can be such an echo chamber and sometimes it’s hard to find ppl who align with you on ur ship or u get used to a limited ship dynamic that’s popular… but getting to chat w others irl who are open to variations more was rly nice…

One thing so fascinating to me was even if ppl didn’t know i7 or Yuumori, ppl still came to our table and listened to us talk about it, and flipped thru books. I mean, I’m sure our theme helped, ppl saw the sign of “like pretty boys in maid dresses??” I really do think ppl crave books & doujinshi.

I didn’t get to get up from our table and walk around to look around at other tables tonight, others in our circle did tho! To be on the purchasing end on multiple days/time slots, then selling tonight, rly felt the enthusiasm in doujinshi! Even if ppl didnt know the series there was curiosity in it

I tore up the ends of my riku coat and white shirt like I planned to tonight, em sewed on the clips to hat so I can attach to wig, and I sewed the gem details onto the shirt. Cannot be bothered to sew on gems to the hat or sleeve cuffs would rather sleep sooner, will do for shoot in future.
