Really pleased with this bit of joinery on my coffee table. It’s French oak with a maple dowel pin through the tennon. I made the dowel from reclaimed floorboards rescued from a sports hall in Truro. #woodworking

My old Mercedes estate has given up the ghost. A long list of fixes required to get it through its MOT, I shed a tear, it has worked hard, a robust and resilient vehicle. However it does smell of old meat.

I had a job interview on Tuesday. First proper job interview for about 30 years. The job looked great so nerves got the better of me and I was a bit shit.

Enjoyed Day 20 of #100DaysOfSwiftUI, we covered using stacks to arrange views, colours, frames and gradients, buttons and images and showing alert messages.

Day 17 of #100DaysOfSwiftUI done. For anyone else just starting out on this course, the introduction becomes a bit of a slog, I think I learn best when there's a practical application and I started to lose enthusiasm, but all comes good at Day 16 when you start actually making stuff.
