For all its chaos, when The Bear focused on one or two characters it was often exceptional. Fishes and Forks remain grandstanding TV. It managed to make bottle-shows a highlight. The finale, after a slog of a season, is a fitting end to a singular show. In the end, it was excellent when it mattered.

Half-way through S5 of The Bear and I still don't know who Jeff is. They need to at least answer this before the finale. I've been wondering this since S1.
