I've seen 65 2025 releases, including shorts. I've seen 9 of the 10 Best Picture noms. I saw Sinners 4/29 and thought, it's a long year. Something even better will come along. Nothing did. Also, Eva Victor and Soderbergh were robbed. They deserved director and picture noms. But, still, Sinners.

PTA is a fantastic director and OBAA was a great film, but it was like the 6th best film of the nominees. This is a lifetime achievement award, and it’s bullshit. It’s been anointed since before it came out. Sinners was clearly the best film of the year, and it and Coogler were straight up robbed.
