Jewish communities love to say “all are welcome.” But welcome isn’t access. Access isn’t affirmation. Affirmation isn’t inclusion. That gap is the distance between what we proclaim and what we build. And when we call this out, we’re told to be quiet and that we aren’t grateful. NO.

This is another form of internalised ableism. If the only autistic voices we elevate are the ones who can perform stability, coherence, and constant output then we are simply recreating the same ableist hierarchy we claim to resist.
