Needless redactions & other entirely surmountable issues have left the public worse off than before the legislation requiring declassification. The American taxpayers and the world deserve to see the conflicting assessments & how they've been superseded year by year by public scientific findings.

This is possibly the best thing I have read on Bluesky since I joined a few years ago. It is that on-point. What we are observing isn't "polarization", it's "radicalization". This can be applied not just to politics, but also many other things in the public discourse - COVID being one close to me.
