I worked on this a bit more today. Something about the composition of it didn't look quite right. So I flipped it and moved some things around. I'm feeling better about it now.

My 11yo is super grounded. We’re going to learn that you don’t leave afterschool— in the dark— to go hang out at a friend’s house when their parents aren’t home. After both your parents AND their parents told you no.

I've been thinking a lot lately about the "flat affect" (i.e. resting bitch face), & how neutral expressions are often read as mean, angry, or frigid. And how growing up as both ND & a girl necessitated me learning to perform emotions in a way that satisfied men & neurotypical people.

Dick Cheney was a war criminal. His administration’s “War on Terror” is directly responsible for the deaths of 4.6 million people, the majority of whom were civilians. He eroded US democracy, attacked civil & voting rights, & set the stage for fascists’ rise to power. Good riddance.
